I am writing to remind you of a few things with regard to the International Timetabling Compeition, for which you are registered.

First, the second set of problem instances are now available on the competition web page:

The zip file we put up on Monday may have caused some problems for some of you as it had linux end-of-lines rather than the DOS end-of-lines of the previous ten instances. Our apologies for this - it is now fixed.

The second thing I wanted to remind you of is that the deadline for submission of your solutions is 31st March at Midnight Greenwich Mean Time (this may be during the day on 31st March for some of you - so be careful). We will send more detailed uploading instructions later.

Lastly, I wanted to remind you that you MUST submit a description of your algorithm with your solutions. The description should be complete, concise and clear, so that others can implement your algorithm. We will assume that you are happy for this description to be published. The file should be in Portable Document Format (PDF) or Rich Text Format (RTF). You should start writing this now if you have not already done so.
