Dear Participant

I am writing to you to give you details of how to submit your entry for the International Timetabling Competition.

First you need to get a username and password. You can do that from the competition web pages, or by following this link:

http://www.idsia.ch/ttcomp2002/solutions/askpass.html

The useranme and password will be e-mailed to you. You can then upload your entry from the web pages, or by following this link:

http://www.idsia.ch/ttcomp2002/solutions/sendsol.php4

Please follow the instructions below very carefully.

You should upload a zipped file called entry.zip. This file should contain:

a) Twenty (20) solution files called competition01.sln to competition20.sln in the format specified on the Output Format web page.

b) A file containing the description of your algorithm. The description should be complete, concise and clear, so that others can implement it. We will assume that you are happy for this description to be published. The file should be in Portable Document Format (PDF) or Rich Text Format (RTF) and called description.pdf or description.rtf.

c) A text file called details.txt. This files should contain:
-On the first line – Your name
-On the second line – Your email address
-On the next twenty lines – The soft constraint scores that you got for each of the twenty solutions you submitted (in the right order!).

Good luck to all of you.
