About Me

I am working as a researcher (PhD candidate in Computer Science) at the IDSIA (Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence; The Swiss AI Lab) under the supervision of Prof. Luca Maria Gambardella and guidance of Dr. Gianni A. Di Caro. My PhD is in affiliation with the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) in Lugano, Switzerland.

I am currently associated with the NCCR robotics project (Distributed robotics): Symbiotic co-operation between humans and robotic swarms, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). This project is a follow-up of IDSIA's research in the domain of swarm robotics projects Swarmanoid and Swarm-bots, and is collaborated with ETH Zürich (ETHZ), École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and Universität Zürich (UZH).

My research interests include: machine learning and pattern recognition, computer vision, human-robot interaction (HRI), distributed and swarm robotics, reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and bio-inspired optimization. See research page for more information on my research activities. You will find my resume and a list of my publications there.

Please visit out SWARM ROBOTICS webpage for more information on IDSIA's current research activities.
