I am working as a PhD researcher at the IDSIA (Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence; The Swiss AI Lab) under the supervision of Prof. Luca Maria Gambardella and guidance of Dr. Gianni A. Di Caro. My PhD is affiliated with the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) in Lugano, Switzerland.
I am currently associated with the NCCR robotics project "Symbiotic co-operation between humans and robotic swarms", funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). This project is a follow-up of IDSIA's research in the domain of swarm robotics projects Swarmanoid and Swarm-bots, and collaborated with ETH Zürich (ETHZ), École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and Universität Zürich (UZH).
My research activities include: machine learning, pattern recognition, computer vision, human-robot interaction (HRI), distributed (swarm) robotics, multi-agent and multi-robot systems. See my research page for more information on my research activities. You will find my CV/resume, a list of my publications and video demonstrations there.
Please visit out Swarm Robotics webpage for more information on our current research activities.
