Alessio Benavoli is the new professor for Engineering Methods for AI at IDSIA. Alessio obtained his PhD in Control Engineering from the University of Florence in 2007 and he has been a researcher at IDSIA since 2008. His research focuses on dynamical systems and controls, quantum mechanics, decision making under uncertainty with applications to data mining, machine learning and control theory.
